We all have them, they either  are tucked away in our pockets, or  they are stashed in our book bags. In the twenty first century  cellphones have been a major part of the modern day culture. In schools  it may cause a distraction and drive teachers crazy, but to students that is their way of connecting to life around them. But why during class? when asking Zaria, a fellow north high student,why she uses her phone during class to text she said ” Its more of second nature, when ever you here that ring you just feel like you have to answer.” Which is the way most kids feel on why they use there cellphones during class.
