As you may have heard, Prom is coming up, and prom committee members are busy planning away. Here are the people on the prom committee this year: Kali Zerwas , Olivia Clemens, Paige Stepnick , Mallory Sherwin, Mary Patsy, Christy Liu, Libby Haggerty, Olivia McCahon, and Emily Johnson.  Prom will be held at the Landmark Center in St. Paul on Saturday, May 1 from 7:30 to 11 PM.

Any juniors and seniors can go, but if you ask anyone from other schools make sure your date is younger than 21. You might still be on the fence about coming, and if not knowing the theme is holding you back then keep reading: the theme is “Starry Night.”  The official theme colors for the evening will be glitter gold and navy blue.

One thing to expect at the prom will be lots of food, but that is not all.  There will be a DJ, a chocolate fountain, dancing, and a lot of fun.

You might want to go, but you might also want to help next year. All you really have to do in order to get involved in prom committee is show up at the meetings. If you want to ask a teacher about it all you have to do is go talk to Ms. Powers  or Ms. Simon. As a prom planner, you need to have lots of ideas, reach out to people, and  know how to budget.
