Kylee Guenther, Journalism Student

In 2019, 2021, and 2023 during spring break a group of teachers and a group of students will be going to Spain, France and Italy for twelve days, for a cost of $3,300 with everything covered when paying. One of the teachers going is Mr. Larsen, when I asked him why he wanted to be a part of this trip he said “ For me, it’s the “light- bulb” discovers that happen during travel, when a students mind races beyond classroom walls!”  Right now there are 36 travelers going in 2019 and there is still room for more. “The largest group that went was 44 travelers.” Larsen said. This trip will include many different sightseeings and tours. Some of the tours will be in Barcelona, Provence, Nice, Cinque Terre, Florence, and Rome.

Here is what you will do for the twelve days. On day one of the trip you will fly overnight to Barcelona, Spain. On day two you will go on a walking tour of Las Ramblas. On day three you will be doing a guided sightseeing of Barcelona, La Sagrada Familia, and you will have time to just explore. On day four you will be traveling to Provence via Carcassonne. On day five you will travel to the French Riviera via Avignon, take a tour of Avignon, and Nice. on day six you will travel to the Cinque Terre region via Monaco and Eze, take a tour of Monaco, and visit a perfume factory. On day seven you visit the Cinque Terre, and its five villages. On day eight you will travel to Florence, and have a guided sightseeing tour of Florence. On day nine you will spend the day exploring Florence. On day ten you will travel to Rome, and do a sightseeing tour of Vatican City, and explore Rome. On day eleven you will do more sightseeing in Rome, and explore the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona, and see Rome by night. On day twelve you will catch your flight and depart back home. “This trip will be very eye opening, its a great experience.” says Larsen. If you have a chance to go on any of the trips you should.
