Precious Oudamrak , North High junior has a real talent for music as it is her escape from reality.

Precious started getting into music because of her uncle who played the piano and the sound of the piano was so lovely to her that she wanted to try for herself. Her fingers were too small for her to reach some keys so she gave up on that dream. In middle school she had a friend who taught her the basics of playing the guitar and at the age of 13 she was given her first guitar from her mother and she’s been playing since then.

When asked what makes you wanna do music, her response to that was “I wanna do music because it helps me feel less stress from things on life. It expresses how I feel. I want people to relate to how I feel in my music and find their peace with it. Making people realize that there’s someone who experienced how they’reĀ  feeling betters themselves and that’s what I like to bring out in others through my music.”

The words spoken by her couldn’t have been said any better coming from anyone else. Letting people know that she understands you through music.

When asking, how sou you get the lyrics to appear in your head? She replied “When I feel a type of way, especially sad, I usually think of the things that made me feel that type of way. I strum my guitar until I find the sound I want and add the lyrics that comes from my feelings.”

The feelings express through her music cannot be explained by anybody besides herself, but it is very clear to everyone around her that her passion for music and her thrive to make everyone feel included will bring her far on her journey to success and we wish the best on you precious.
