One thing people can’t wait for when they get to high school is the ability to play varsity sports. But some get the opportunity to play earlier than high school, and this is the case for sophomore Kyle Gilday. As an eighth grader at Maplewood Middle School Kyle got to suit up and play with the varsity baseball team. The following year, his freshman year, he was on the varsity, football, baseball and hockey teams. Kyle is very happy that he has gotten the opportunity to be on all three varsity teams so early in his high school career. 

But this year Kyle has decided to not play football and instead he is n the Cross Country team.
