As the North High’s drama Addams Family: The Musical come soon to perform, we got to ask Ashley Prax who is playing Alice Beineke, a youthful woman who rhymes every time with her jolly poems, a few questions before the show come to life on stage and her are her very interesting questions.

With an update question with Prax, she announce that the progress of the show has been very astounding and great as everyone is doing a good job at putting the show together by singing, dance and even helping the set-build becoming alive and ready to be perform.

We asked her how excited she is to play her character and how they relate and she responded that she’s very excited to perform as someone who is very similar as she stated after laughing: “How DON’T I relate to Alice Beineke?! Hahaha!”

When we asked Prax how she keeps her character from herself, she disclose that Alice maybe very similar to her, but the difference to keep her from being too similar to herself, she thinks of Alice being very jolly but keeps a lot of feelings to herself, keeping too many “secrets” to herself.

Another question was “What will surprise the audience when they see your character” which Prax respond with another gleeful laugh; “When they see my solo that will sure shock everyone since Alice seems happy-go-lucky and rhythmic person and now her true colors will show…”

The final question we asked is after Addams Family comes to an end, will she plan to do more Theater Productions and her answer was “yes”. She wants to have her Junior year to be exciting with Show Choir and Theater productions as she loves to sing and perform in front of people and work around with others. Now we only Ashley Prax breaks a leg and rhymes her way as Alice Beineke, she hopes to see you there!
