Deadline is here; have you turned everything in?
November 16, 2018
I wanted to check in with a freshman, to see how they’re doing now that this trimester is ending. And a couple more questions. I interviewed Ricardo Serrano, he had stated how from middle school, to high school is “a drastic change, I have to focus more on my grades”. I believe having good grades, is one of the most important thing, when coming into high school. Some may agree, to disagree. But, I feel like your future, may depend on it.
I had asked Serrano, how he has been feeling now that everything is coming to a deadline, on turning everything in literally today. He had stated he is “stressed out, and it’s scary”. Having to do everything last minute, when you have been procrastinating for a long time, is even more stressful enough. “It’s on me, because I chose not to do my work”. Serrano, is a freshman, and understands that not turning in his work, is on him, not anyone else.
If Serrano, would want a bright future, he has to do what he needs to do, in order to accomplish it. He knows that, when it comes to him not doing his work, he knows the consequences to it. When he doesn’t turn anything in, he knows what will happened, grades drop, bad GPA and possibly consequences at home. Serrano had mentioned, playing football next year, but can that happened, if he hasn’t turned his work in?
On a last article I made, about Ricardo Serrano he had stated he wanted to be a mechanic and wanted to also go to college, for technology and engineering. If Serrano, really wants to see a future with pursuing that career, he will have to work a little harder and will have to be turning his things in on time. Even though, it is hard to turn things in , and keep up with school work, your future will thank you.
