During the Monday night game between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Star running back Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending injury.
The Official NFL injury reports say that Chubb suffered a Torn MCL (Medial Collateral Ligament) in his left leg. The NFL did claim that he will be going into surgery next week, and while his ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) did sustain some damage, it was not fully torn.
According to Adam Schefter, this injury will not be a career-ending injury for Nick Chubb. Still, after the surgery the healing process will be about six to eight months, making him ineligible to return to the season.
The Cleveland Browns had discussed trading for running back Cam Akers before his trade to the Minnesota Vikings, but shortly after they found ways back to running back Kareem Hunt to a one-year deal and $4 million dollar contract.
But after the severe injury of Nick Chubb, the team went through a long understandable grieving week and wants to commemorate this game to their star running back Nick Chubb.
