This year’s Homecoming Spirit Week is one to remember. First, students of North High dressed up to show school spirit. Theme days included decades, elements, Ken v. Barbie, twinning, and last, as always, Red-Out. Students and teachers alike brought their costume game this week!
At the pepfest, North got to see a performance from LatinX Club’s own Abigail Magee, Derek Vazquez,
and Rubí Acevedo. The North dance team brought the power and the students screamed strongly from
the spirit inspired by the North Cheer Team, led by captains Kaylie Mularie and Annabelle Carlson. The pepfest was emceed by student hosts, Ashley Yang and Penelope Yang. A highlight of the event included a dance-off featuring our own Mr. Honsa and Mr. Sims. The Band bookended the event with music, providing some wonderful walk-out jams.
After pepfest, students and teachers adjourned to the track field for the first Polar Palooza. This amazing event included carnival games, a dunk tank, and food. Students of BSU, Student Council, and NHS have been hard at work planning this amazing event.
The pepfest also included the announcement of Homecoming Royalty winners. Here are the results!
