North America has the highest rate of movie consumption compared to other areas of the world. Since this September, many Americans have been constantly watching movies on streaming platforms this fall due to the season.
Movies are one of the best forms of entertainment in people’s lives. As the leaves change colors and the days get colder and shorter, the tendency to watch movies in a cozy room with a blanket appeals to everyone. From my research on this topic, horror and Halloween movies are the most watched right now because of the season.
An article I read, “The Ultimate Fall Movie Bucket List” by Laura of Flavour of the Film, discusses fall movies that should be watched. She mentions films like those by Tim Burton, romantic comedies, Disney movies, and many classics such as Hocus Pocus, Casper, and Harry Potter. Something to consider is where you’ll be watching these movies. Nowadays, there are many streaming platforms available—Netflix, Tubi, HBO Max, Hulu, and more. If not these streaming services, YouTube is always an option, with the benefit of some free movies with ads.
Here’s how to enjoy movies this fall:
-
Look at your schedule and find a good time to watch without interruptions.
-
Make sure your environment is comfortable and cozy.
-
Have a snack and drink ready—something sweet or savory, and a warm drink sounds perfect.
