North’s Volleyball team is going to the state tournament for the first time in school history after defeating Stillwater in the Class 3A, Section 4 title game at Roseville High School on Thursday night. 

The Polars defeated the team that eliminated from the section tournament the last two years by scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-15. Senior Lauren Stenman lead the Polars with 14 kills.

The Polars will be appearing in next week’s state tournament to be held at the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul. Seeding will take place on Sunday.
