On September 27, Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet N’ Sour concert in Toronto was filled with excitement. Carpenter’s passion has always been singing as well for her career.

Carpenter is a 25 year old American actress and singer, known for role in the Disney channel, “Girl Meets World”. Carpenter’s acting career has always been in her life, but her main passion is singing. 

She started taking vocal lessons at the age 10, and eventually gained a big hit on one of her first published songs, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”. Now, Carpenter has over 82 million people listening to her music monthly. She also played in the movies

Carpenter’s first inspiration was Judy Garland, the main actress and singer from Wizard Of Oz. Ever since, Carpenter’s passion and desire was to act and sing.  Carpenter had said that seeing Judy Garland perform “Over The Rainbow” had influenced Carpenter to express herself in the music she writes about.

Both of her parent’s, David and Elizabeth Carpenter, have always been there to support Carpenter’s admirations and passions as well. She shouted out to her parents during the performance for always being there for her. Carpenter’s father was a musician, which could easily explain who Sabrina Carpenter was also influenced by. 

In Toronto, Canada, she performed her album Short N’ Sweet. At this concert, Carpenter talks about when she remembered her first time performing in Toronto, Canada. She was enthusiastic and lively at that night’s concert. The audience gave off motivational thrives, like during her song “Nonsense”, the audience started waving their phone flashlights. 

During Carpenter’s interactions with her audience, there was a girl who had a birthday that day. The girl had said she was turning 10. The crowd instantly heart melted and felt touched from this moment. Throughout the rest of the concert, Carpenter’s concert was entertaining by having a 70’s-like theme and small video breaks that had a 70’s-like advertisement.
