North High is celebrating Hispanic heritage month! Sept 15 – Oct 15 is set aside for American to join in paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society. North High’s Latinx Club is leading celebrations here, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusion within our school community.
Throughout the month students and staff participate in many activities to show support for Hispanic culture. North’s LatinX club has played a major part in organizing events and spreading awareness by hosting a Spirit Week. The group is also celebrating Indigenous People’s Day with a photo opportunity in the cafeteria on Monday during all three lunches. These activities not only educate students about the significance of the month but also create a sense of unity and respect for different backgrounds.
North High’s commitment to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month further shows our dedication to creating an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and represented. School wide activities are a great way to show your gratitude for those of different backgrounds that make North’s beautiful community what it is, so make sure you dress up for Hispanic spirit week!
