This Sundays Vikings game was a stressful game to watch, to say the least. With the Vikings scoring a touchdown in the 1st quarter but not scoring a single point until the 4th quarter where they score an insane 22 points. But with the vikings defense making the Packers resort to 5 field goals the Vikings were able to make a comeback after being down 20-7 by the 4th quarter. But the Vikings carry on the bad kicker curse with their now released kicker Daniel Carlson missing 3 field goals against the Packers. 2 of which were in overtime which would’ve won the game.

When the coach “Mike Zimmer” was asked about his thoughts on the 3 misses he said “You know what? Guys are suppose to do their jobs . Maybe we should have thrown the ball into the end zone a couple of times. I believed that [Carlson] was going to make it, Put it in the middle of the field. We put it smack dead in the middle of the field, and every day in practice, he drills them. That’s what’s disappointing.” When asked about his thoughts on the misses, Carlson said ““I think that last one was probably more just something with confidence after missing twice earlier”.

I can’t say it was anyone else’s fault but Carlson. He made the Vikings leave with a tie instead of a win which would’ve been a awesome comeback. When asked about the result of the game, my friend Collin Garrity  said “It was annoying, I have no idea why we got rid of Kai Forbath”. The kicker for the Vikings last season. “It should’ve been a win for the Vikings.” And i agreed because anything under 45 yards should be automatic for an NFL kicker so for Carlson to miss a 35 yard field goal is irritating.
