Show Choir Competition

As the snow falls in quickly and the fall musical Addams Family comes to an end, Competition Season comes in closer for Show Choir as members in show choir practice everyday and even extra practices on fridays for a heated competition and I got to talk to Mason Wold, a well-known and talented senior in Show Choir and North High itself, and we got some answers from him in the interview.

The first question I asked: “What do you think that North’s show choir has compared to other show choirs?” He laughed loudly before coming back to the question with his friends: “We have our lovely teacher, Ms. Alswager!”

Other questions I asked was about competing with other schools and his favorite thing about competition and he responded was that he’s very excited to compete and spending time with his friends all day long.

The final question was the importance of getting along with rivals or just plain rivalry competition which he answered: “Even though it’s a competition, it’s always important to get along with other school because you always want healthy competition, not a toxic one.”

Even though the snow came in early, Mason and the other members of show choir are still fierce and ready to perform and hopefully win first place for every showcase they go to. Let’s wish them luck and win it for North!
