Senior Spotlight: Tony Mudek

Libby Haggerty, Staff Writer

“Strange bells, new friends, and no clue where to go”–Tony Mudek’s first day at North High was “awesome.” His friendly smile and welcoming behavior, along with some “connections in Boy Scouts,” Tony acquired many pals in high school. He believes, “You have to be nice to everyone. I treat people the way I want to be treated.”

Boy Scouts gave Tony another opportunity to make friends. He says Boy Scouts is “a great way to learn about the world around me and how I interact with friends and others. I learned how to be respectful and developed a proper moral compass. Boy Scouts has taught me everything I need.”

“Graduating from the University of South Dakota as a nurse and helping people in rural areas” will be the next step in Tony’s life. Tony is a wonderful individual who is ready to take on the world. Be prepared!
